However, we did not like the fact that it lists several possible side effects and that the manufacturer didn't offer any good discounts for multiple purchases. That said, it still has many plus points, so we went looking to see what consumers had to say about this product and dug a little deeper to discover more. The information we found was somewhat lacking, with very sparse information on its website, which did not provide a fully comprehensive picture as we would have liked to have seen.

We felt that the price for Nature’s Bounty CLA was pretty much on par when compared with other similar products. However, there are no multiple purchase discounts available when buying several bottles which is a real negative since long term weight loss can take time. Natrol Tonalin CLA offers several very positive elements. It is manufactured without any additives or fillers and it is all natural. Potent Organics CLA is said to maximize your weight loss results and help develop leaner muscles and burn fat. Each capsule contains a blend of pure ingredients which include oleic acid, palmitic acid, stearic acid and linoleic acid. Although this is a good blend, it is far less potent than the CLA which is derived from safflowers. In fact, the specific linoleic acid it does contain only registers at a 10mg dose, which will do nothing specifically to help consumers lose weight. It has no binders, no fillers and no artificial ingredients which is positive. We felt, from our research that this was a fairly good product and warranted further investigation.

The price of this product was on par with other similar products. That said, the quality and effectiveness of the ingredients are not as effective as pure CLA, so we felt that this should perhaps lower the price a little. The manufacturer doesn’t offer any multiple purchase price options. The manufacturer does offer a 90 day money back guarantee for its product but when we tried to call customer service to test this, we were met with a telephone number that didn't work. There were limited customer reviews about this product, therefore we were not able to determine whether or not it lives up to its claims. The lack of reviews could also suggest that the product's effectiveness is weak or something else that we were unable to explain.
Conclusion
Potent Organics CLA does not have CLA (derived from safflower) as its main ingredient, conjugated linoleic acid is only present at 10mg dosage which is much lower that our other chosen products. This could explain the limited positive reviews that we found. With limited reviews and no multiple package deals available, we had no choice other than to place this product in our #4 ranking.
